Air car from TATA

TATA- AIR POWERED CAR IN INDIA
Air Powered Car

Tata Motors is ready to introduce Air Car - Will it be the next
big thing?Tata Motors is taking giant strides and making history for
itself. First the Land Rover/Jaguar deal, then the world's cheapest car, and
now it is also set to introduce the car that runs on compressed air.

With spiraling fuel prices it is about time we heard some breakthrough!

India's largest automaker, Tata Motors, is set to start
producing the world's first commercial air-powered vehicle.

The Air Car, developed by ex-Formula One engineer Guy N'gre
for Luxembourg-based MDI, uses compressed air, as opposed to the gas-and-oxygen
explosions of internal-combustion models, to push its engine's pistons. Some 6000
zero-emissions Air Cars are scheduled to hit Indian streets by August 2011.

The Air Car, called the "MiniCAT" could cost around Rs.. 3,47,523/- ($8,177.00) in India and would
have a range of around 300 km between refuels.

The cost of a refillwould be about Rs. 85($2..00)

The MiniCAT which is a simple, light urban car, with a tubular chassis that is glued,
not welded
, and a body of fiberglass powered by compressed
air. Microcontrollers are used in every device in the car, so one tiny radio
transmitter sends instructions to the lights, indicators, etc.

There are no keys -
just an access card which can be read by
the car from your pocket. According
to the designers, it costs less than 50
rupees per 100 Km (about a tenth that of a
petrol car). Its mileage is about
double that of the most advanced electric
car (200 to 300 km or 10 hours of
driving), a factor which makes a perfect
choice in cities where 80% of motorists drive at
less than 60 Km. The car has a top
speed of 105 Kmph.

Refilling the car will, once the market develops, take place
at adapted petrol stations to administer compressed air. In two or three minutes,
and at a cost of approximately 100 rupees, the car will be ready to go another
200-300 kilometers.

As a viable alternative, the car carries a small compressor
which can be connected to the mains (220V or 380V) and

refill the tank in 3-4 hours. Due to the absence of combustion and,
consequently, of residues, changing the oil (1 litre of vegetable oil) is
necessary only every 50,000 Km).
The temperature of the clean air expelled by the exhaust pipe is
between 0-15 degrees below zero, which makes it suitable for use by the internal
air conditioning system with no need for gases or loss ofpower.

two headed royal or ball python .. check out the pics..

This is one snake who is likely to be more than a little snappy if provoked.
The mutant black and gold python regius - royal python or ball python - was born in Villingen-Schwenningen, southern Germany, with two heads.
Twice the bite: This python regius, or ball python, was born with two heads in Villingen-Schwennigen, Germany

Which way next? The one-year-old snake is now 20in long and appears to be coping well with its mutation
Snake breeder Stefan Broghammer said the slippery customer is around one years old and has grown to around 20 inches.
He said the creature is only the second python known to be born with two heads.
The snake is non-venomous, found in Africa and are a popular pet.
Adults generally grow up to around 4ft and when threatened their instinctively curl into a ball to defend themselves.
Rare: Snake breeder Stefan Broghammer, pictured, said it was only the second time on record of a python being born with two heads

Baby Boy or Baby Girl.. Whom do you choose?..

If  you are married couple and you need to choose one gender baby for your family.. Whom do you choose ? Boy or girl?

In Indian sub continent, if you ask this question to the people. Majority people says, they choose  a boy.

How about in america?
In 1941, Americans asked a similar question responded with 38 percent preferring a boy, 24 percent preferring a girl, and the rest with no preference. The question has been asked eight other times in the intervening years, with the numbers remaining fairly constant.

The preference for boys over girls is driven by men, 49 percent of whom said they'd want a son. Only 22 percent said they'd prefer a daughter. Women, in contrast, showed no significant preference, with 31 percent preferring a boy and 32 percent preferring a girl.

Americans younger than 30 are the most likely to say they'd prefer a boy, with 54 percent making that choice, and 27 percent preferring a baby girl. The gap then declines steadily with age. Education also plays a role: People with a postgraduate education break even in their preferences, while 44 percent of those with a high-school education or less prefer boys, compared with 25 percent who prefer girls.

In other countries, gender selective abortions screwed the male female ratio. Check out the below table.

The table designed for each 1000 males, how many females are born .
Kits that promise to reveal the sex of a baby at just a few weeks' gestation have raised fears of similar sex-selective abortion in Western countries, Gallup officials said.

Charles Schultz Philosophy

Charles Schultz Philosophy

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz , the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the information straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world .

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America Contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. They are not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school...

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?
I love this!

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who care.

Share this with those who have made a difference in your life.
I just did!

"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today.
It's already tomorrow in Australia ..."
Charles Schultz

Are these facts are TRUE?

Most 'First Class' students get technical seats, some become Doctors and some Engineers.

The 'Second Class' pass, and then pass MBA, become Administrators and control the 'First Class'.

The 'Third Class' pass, enter politics and become Ministers and control both.

Last, but not the least, The 'Failures' join the underworld and control all the above.

What do you say? ..
Are
these interesting Truths!?
